Domestic extension and internal refurbishment – Nearing Completion


Complete, high-end internal, domestic refurbishment, Southampton – Complete

Quaystone has completed a full, high-end domestic refurbishment including structural works, kitchen refurbishment, bathrooms, new heating systems, service supplies and refurbishment to all rooms.

Guest Accommodation & New Barn Andover – Complete

Commencing in August 2018, Quaystone have been appointed to construct a new, single storey, timber framed building to provide guest accommodation at a private residence near Andover.

The charming ‘stable style’ building includes 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a small kitchen/lounge area with wood burning stove.

As the contract is going so well, the client has awarded the Quaystone team a further contract to construct a new barn-style building on the same site.New Microsoft Publisher Document

Former IAC Warehouse – Complete

This project was completed early September 2018, with the first phase successfully handed over earlier for tenant fit-out. Works involved complete stripping out, internal demolition and complete refurbishment to both the interior and exterior of this industrial unit of nearly 10,000m2. The warehouse is divided into two, handing one over as a shell and core, with new commercial windows, cladding, replacement roof lights and gutter linings.

The other unit has been fully refurbished with:-

  • Replacement of roof lights, replacement gutter liners
  • Designed mechanical and electrical systems
  • Designed steelwork to dividing wall
  • New commercial aluminium windows, cladding and flashings
  • New partitioning, washrooms
  • Ceilings, flooring and redecorations including epoxy floor

Cathedral Walk, Guildford – Complete

This fast track project was handed over in April.  Works involve emptying, stripping out and complete refurbishment to both the interior and exterior of this industrial unit.

The works are varied and extensive including:-

  • Replacement of roof lights
  • Removal of additional partitions and mezzanine floor
  • Removal and replacement of heating system
  • General repairs including replacing glazing units and repairing external envelope
  • Complete redecoration internally

The unit is in a terrace of business units, with occupied premises either side so access to their businesses is to be maintained as well as ensuring our works do not cause any disruption.

Roman Landing, Southampton – Complete

In March 2018 Quaystone completed the full internal refurbishment of ground, first and second floor offices at Roman Landing, St Mary’s Place, Southampton for CBRE.

Works to the 825m² space included full strip out and refurbishment including:-

  • New suspended ceilings
  • New raised access floors
  • Redecoration
  • New carpets
  • M&E upgrades including new lighting, power distribution and fire systems
  • New air conditioning systems throughout

The third and fourth floors were occupied so the team needed to liaise closely with tenants to coordinate works and ensure cleanliness and safety of any shared circulation areas was maintained.

Particular care was required regarding noise and power as one of the occupants is a local radio station.

Swan Centre, Eastleigh – Complete

Working in the public car park area of the Swan Centre shopping centre in Eastleigh, our team has carried out extensive repairs and resurfacing works including:-

  • Individual repairs to surfacing
  • Waterproofing works
  • Widespread removal and renewal of asphalt ramps
  • Phased closures for works
  • Traffic management including public safety measures

Using our own approved tradesmen to carry out the works with a full-time working supervisor and a team of our approved subcontractors we have been able to carry out the works with minimum disruption to this busy shopping centre.

Quaystone Projects are happy to announce that they have completed another successful project for CBRE. The full re-roof was undertaken on the fully operational H&M store in Reading on a very busy High Street! Launcyln Close, Rear Extension – Complete

Quaystone completed a bespoke rear extension to a house in North Baddesley. Our team has worked exceptionally well in such a small amount of time, giving the family some much need additional space!

Fleets Corner Industrial Park, Poole – Civil & Structural Refurbishment – Complete

Works included lifting and disposal of existing concrete trench covers. Forming suspended designed concrete road slabs housing an existing high pressure gas main in two phases:-

Full external refurbishment of an occupied office building.  This included:-
